Allie dressed up as a princess and Kate dressed up as a cow. St. John's had a festival, so we went there and the kids had a ball. Each classroom had a different game, and the hall had a bunch of activities going on. Kate finally was able to get some "down" time, which she spent digging in a big tub of candy. She was in heaven. Bocky took Allie down the street trick-or-treating. She had a blast!
Allie wore the same cow costume for her first Halloween, but the difference was that she was a "mad" cow! She wasn't feeling well and was fussy the whole night. Kate, on the other hand, was a happy cow, supporting the commercial's claim that happy cows come from California!
I bought Allie some real jewelry, which I thought she'd be so excited about, but after wearing it for about five minutes she wanted it off and wanted her "real" princess jewelry on. So much for my great ideas!
